Angel Castillo, Jr., 49, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013. He was born Dec. 9, 1963, in Lockhart, to Angel D. Castillo, Sr., and Mary Helen Lucio Castillo.

Angel was a loving husband, father, brother and son who touched the lives of many.

Angel worked for the Guadalupe Blanco River  Authority in the water and wastewater treatment plant in Lockhart, for 24 years. He als

o worked weekends at Smitty”s Market.

Angel is survived by his wife of 20 years, Teresa, daughter, Ashley Marie, and pet, Tinkerbell; parents, Angel D., Sr., and Mary Helen Castillo; sister, Valerie Gonzales and spouse, Fabian, and children: Tabitha, Samantha, Joshua, Paul and Clarissa; brother, Joe Castillo and nieces: Stephanie and Kelli Castillo; brother, Stephen Castillo and spouse, Kelly and nieces: Courtney, Amanda and Emily; sister, Lisa Montana and spouse, Edward, and nephews: Joseph and Justin; sister, JoAnne Leija and spouse, Johnny, and children: Brandi and John Anthony; brother, James Castillo and spouse, LeAnn and children: Allie, Hollie, Jamie and Lindsie.

A visitation scheduled on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Eeds Funeral Home. A mass of celebration was planned on Thursday, June 13, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Roberto Borruel officiating.

Serving as the pallbearers are: Noel Carrizales, Randy Castillo, Joshua Gonzales, Joseph Montana, Jesse Larkin and Jason Eeds. Honorary pallbearers are John Fullilove and John Anthony Leija.

    sad to hear of the loss of your loved one in the family god bless you all and may god always keep you all safe and in good health the memories we share of our school days brings sad thoughts to having to say good bye i always remember angel for that nice black camaro if im correct that he had in school god bless me deepest sympathy to all the family
