Mary Chamberlain Smith

Mary Chamberlain Smith, 82, of Gonzales, Texas, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011. She was born on Sept. 8, 1928, in Caldwell County, Texas, to John and Mamie (Gray) Chamberlain.

Her parents preceded her in death.  Mary is survived by her devoted partner, Otto Ewald.

Family received friends at McCurdy Funeral Home, from 5 – 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011. Funeral s

ervices were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, in the McCurdy Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Tom Jones officiating. Interment followed at the Lockhart City Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers were Johnny Crawford, Larry McKee, George Williams, John Grasshoffs, Jimmy Ewald and Bobby Huff.
