On Aug. 20, 2006 the Lord called Erleen Burditt to His heavenly kingdom. Mrs. Burditt, a longtime resident of Lockhart, was loving wife to Jimmie C. Burditt. She was “mom” and “granny” to many who knew her. She enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. She could be seen at various functions for her grandchildren, shopping around town and she rarely missed a good garage s

ale. She also enjoyed embroidery, reading and fishing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and relied upon her.
Mrs. Burditt was born on July 12, 1928 in Westhoff, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Weber and Lillie Marie Aschen Weber.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie C. Burditt. She is also survived by her sister Delaphine Weber Kopplin of Beeville.
She left on this earth her six children: Bob Barrow (and wife Jan), Ernest W. Barrow (and wife Mary), Kathy Barrow Smith (and husband Phil), Debra French-Dalton (and husband Garry), Joe Lee Burditt, and Larry Burditt (and wife Kristie). She found a special son in Greg (Rojo) Rawlinson.
She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Robert (Clay) Barrow, David Barrow, Ashlee Burditt, Sawyer Burditt, Tyson Hoff, Kassidy Hoff, Dee Whalen, James Lagan, Kenneth McWhorter, J.T. Niemann, Pamela Smith, Philip Ross Smith, Kelsie Smith, Keaton Smith, Dusty Dalton, Cody Dalton and David Dalton. Her great-grandchildren will miss her as well: Caitlin Barrow, Brooke Barrow, Justin Dunston and Brittany Dunston.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 11 a.m. at Eeds Funeral Home in Lockhart. A visitation was held Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 pm at Eeds Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Hospice Austin.
