1,000th sterilization event set for Lockhart event

The Caldwell County Animal Coalition’s 1,000^th Sterilization event will be Friday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec. 9, at 301 Main Street in Lockhart.

Dogs will be $125 and cats $65, which includes a state required rabies vaccine an official rabies certificate is provided at check-in. Microchips are available for a suggested donation of $10, which includes a lifetime registration. Those wishing to spay or neuter their pets must prepay. There is also an option to pay processing fees of about $7 per transaction. There is also a general donation option.
