Henry Howard, Jr.

Henry Thomas Howard, Jr., 54, passed away in San Antonio, Texas, on Aug 31, 2015 with his family at his side. Henry was born Sept. 23, 1960, in Redondo Beach, California to Henry Thomas, Sr., and Patricia Howard.

He was united in marriage to Stephanie Wong on Aug. 18, 1981.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie, of Lockhart; his parents, Henry and Patricia Howard, of Geor

getown; his children, Chandel and husband, James Woody, of Lockhart, and Chrystal Veliz, of Austin; sisters: Sarah and husband, Vernon Cardwell, of Copeland, and Marcie and husband, Gus Raad, of Singapore; brother, David and wife, Shannon Howard, of McKinney; grandchildren: Nathan, Madeline, and Joe Woody, and Makayla and Thomas Matysek. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Henry was an avid gardener who produced multitudes of fruits and vegetables.  He shared his produce with all that wanted or needed it and canned and preserved large amounts for the family.  His knowledge of gardening was shared with anyone who would listen.
