Edrie Elliot

Edrie Lawler Elliot, 89, passed away on April 3, 2016. She was born Aug. 16, 1926, to Walter and Mary Lawler in Lockhart, Texas.
Edrie attended Southwest Texas, now Texas State University, and worked as a specialist for the IRS for 30 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kay Borges; and granddaughter, Julie Borges.
She is survived by daughter, Susan V. R

ay and husband, Ricky; daughter, Debra Hinton and husband, Gerald; grandchildren: Mandy Wells, Keri Kapier and husband, Coby, Tommy Ray and wife, Sherri, Christine Gontko and husband, Ryan, and Sandie Hinton; eight great-grandchildren: Madison, Garrett, Jake, Ashley, Cira, Adam, Erek and Mikayla; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
A funeral service was planned at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. Pastor Brett Levy will be officiating. Burial will be held following the service at 1 p.m. in Luling, Texas at Luling City Cemetery.
