Jesus “Chuy” Juarez, 65, of Lockhart, Texas, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on April 1, 2016.
One of ten children, Chuy was born in his home on South Main Street in Lockhart, Texas, on Sept. 10, 1950 to Emeterio and Eusebia Juarez. He lived in the same home for over 60 years. He was a lifetime resident of Lockhart and a parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Chuy is survived by his siblings, Ascencion Juarez Vitela and Josephina Juarez Searcy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Emeterio and Eusebia Juarez; his siblings: Eloisa Juarez, Constancio Juarez, Pablo Juarez, Juan E. Juarez, Maria Juarez Briceno, Angel Elino Juarez and Guadalupe Juarez Torres.
Recitation of the Rosary was scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lockhart. Mass of Christian Burial was planned on Wednesday, April 6, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with interment following to St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Julian Ortega, Benny Briceno, Herman Galvan Juarez, Johnny Juarez, Paul Juarez, Sylvia McDougall and Johnny Perez.  Honorary pallbearers are Norma Rangel, Nancy Torres, and Carolyn Zamarripa.
