Nolan Farris Bagwell

Nolan Farris Bagwell, 66, of Uhland, Texas, formerly of Melrose, N.M., passed away peacefully on Sept. 18, 2007 in San Marcos, Texas. He was born Oct. 3, 1940 in Melrose, N.M., to John and Mary Lou (Smith) Bagwell.
He served in the United State Navy for four years and was a member of the Melrose Methodist Church.
Mr. Bagwell was preceded in death by his Parents.<

He is survived by his five sons: Tim Bagwell, Rick Bagwell, Scott Bagwell, Kyle Bagwell and Jason Dixon; a daughter, Brandi Bagwell; two brothers Elmo “Gene” Bagwell and Gary Bagwell; four sisters, Johnnie Lou Bagwell Ragsdale, Patricia Bagwell Romero, Flora Bagwell Bradley, and Karen Bagwell Myers; and five grandchildren.
Visitation was held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, 2007 at McCurdy Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007 at McCurdy Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne McCrary. Interment followed at Bunton Cemetery, Dale, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers were Ryan Kelley, Gary Dean Bagwell, Larry Bagwell, Terry Bagwell, Kevin Myers, Brent Myers, Gary Schneider and Juan Diaz.
