Jan Gideon

Leila Jan Gideon was born Dec. 19, 1962 in Lockhart, Texas and passed away Oct. 28, 2007 with her mother and sisters by her side.
Jan is survived by her mother, Margie Bozarth of Lockhart; sister Glenda Hicks and her husband Bobby of Austin; sister Lisa Schroeder of Lockhart; nieces, Lynn Schroeder of Bryan, Lana Schroeder of Austin, Diana Reliford and husband Chris of

San Leon; nephew Ryan Hicks of Austin; and great-nephew Nicholas Reliford of San Leon.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rexie Glenn Gideon, step-father Maurice Bozarth, maternal grandparents Lester and Ella Morris and paternal grandparents Rexie and Elizabeth Gideon.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 at Grace Lutheran Church, in Lockhart from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service starting at 7 p.m.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Hospice Austin and the Christopher House for their care and compassion during the last few months of her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jan”s name can be made to the American Cancer Society, Hospice Austin or the Lockhart Animal Shelter.
