Fred P. Schroeder

Fred P. Schroeder, 82, passed away peacefully at his home in Lockhart on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, with family at his side.
Fred was born in Chicago, Ill., to Henry and Delia Shoemaker Schroeder on Feb. 15, 1926. Fred married Frances Wold in Chicago on July 29, 1961.
He was a Seaman First Class in the Navy during World War II. Fred retired from the construction ind

ustry as a tuck pointer.
He is survived by his wife, Frances and children; Stephen R. Schroeder of Chicago; stepsons; Steven Orndorff and wife, Pat, of Rosesharon, Texas, and Gary Orndorff of Morris, Ill.; and one sister, Helen Knowles of Richardson, Texas.
