‘Best of Caldwell County’ poll winds down

Time is running out to cast your ballot in the Lockhart Post-Register’s fourth annual Best of  Caldwell  County Readers’ Choice poll.

Responses to the annual poll have been pouring in, according to Lockhart Post-Register publisher Dana Garrett, but the races are close, and the awards are still anyone’s for the claiming.

“We will close votin

g on March 13,” Garrett said. “And we have received votes so far from a huge cross-section of Caldwell County’s population – but we want to remind our readers that their votes matter and their voices are heard.”

Ballots are available on  Page 10B of this week’s Post-Register.

Ballots must be received before 5 p.m. on Friday,  March 13, 2009, to be counted.

Watch for the winners of the Best of Caldwell  County Readers’ Choice Poll in a special edition of the Post-Register due to hit newsstands on Thursday, April 9.
