Ronald Everett Kaufman
Ronald Everett Kaufman, 71, of Hernando, Fla., died on Aug. 17, 2009, at the Hospice House in Lecanto, Fla.
Mr. Kaufman was born in Wolf Point, Montana, to the late George and Pauline Kaufman on Aug. 31, 2009, and was raised in Culbertson, Montana.
Mr. Kaufman worked for the railroad and served in the National Guard and then in the U.S. Air Force as a Tech Ser
geant, serving for 20 years and retiring in 1975.
His hobbies were fishing and golf.
After his retirement from the Air Force, his wife and children relocated to Lockhart, Texas, where they resided for 19 years. In 2000, Ron and his wife moved to Florida.
Ron is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jill (Proud) Kaufman, of Hernando, Fla.; his son, Cary Kaufman and wife, Debbie, of San Marcos; his daughter, Sherral Timerman, of Hernando, Fla., his son, Warren Kaufman, of Lockhart; his daughter, Belinda Craven, of Lockhart; his son, Stephen Kaufman, of Round Rock; his son Kern Kaufman and wife, Nona, of Smithville; and his daughter Mandy Voigt and husband, Dee, of McMahan. He is also survived by his only sister, Gloria Hackensen and her husband, Larry, of North Dakota. Ron has 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Interment with military honors will be held in Arlington National Cemetery on Aug. 31, 2009.
