Pets of the Week

These pets are available for adoption by visiting Lockhart Animal Shelter at 547 Old McMahan Trail. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5:50 p.m., and on Saturdays from noon to 5:50 p.m.

The cats pictured are are named Brainy and Clumsy and they were found out in the county. They were likely dumped. They’ve come a long way when it comes to their social skills, but they are still very shy. Anyone looking to interact with them will need to approach them slowly. They can be affectionate! People visiting the shelter can find these cats by looking for the kitty kennel that says “I’m scared, ask for help to meet me.”
