Sylvia Ali

Sylvia (Tamayo) Ali, 50, of Austin, born on Aug. 8, 1959, to Juan Tamayo, Sr., and Oralia Tamayo of Lockhart, Texas, passed away on April 17, 2010.

She leaves precious memories of a lifetime to be remembered by her husband Naseer R. Ali; daughter, Lamika Annette Tucker; four grandchildren; five sisters: Bertha Ann Lewis (Lain), Rosemary Johnson (Larry), Patricia Per

alez (Armando), Corinna Sue Tamayo and Christina Ortiz (Sammy); five brothers; Jesse Tamayo (Judy), Frankie Tamayo, David Tamayo, Peter Tamayo (Jessica), and Juan R. Tamayo, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Visitation scheduled on Wednesday April 21, 2010, from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. at Eeds Funeral Home in Lockhart, Texas. Services were scheduled at St. Mary”s Catholic Church on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at 2 p.m., with interment following at Lockhart City Cemetery.
