Barbara McMichael Martin

Barbara McMichael Martin was born to Ollie Mae Thomas and Keith McMichael on Aug. 5, 1931, in Marietta, Texas. Barbara left this world for a better place on July 24, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Fred Holmes; her brother, Max McMichael; her first husband, Palmer Martin; and her great-grandson, Aidan Smith.

Barbara is survive

d by; the love of her life, Willie Ray Eaton; her brother, Donnie Holmes; son, Stanley Martin and wife, Carol; and daughter, Linda Martin Johnson and husband, Delbert. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Monica McBroom and her husband, Allen, Jeramie Carrieri and her husband, Dion, Josh Martin and his wife, Maggie, Robyn DeArmond and her husband, Daniel, Bruce Smith, Byron Smith, and Amanda Romero; five great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Eeds Funeral Home in Lockhart, Texas. Services were Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Robert Hahn officiating. Serving as pallbearers were; Richard Dzenowski, Josh Martin, Byron Smith, Bruce Smith, Al Seitz and Bob Gilmer. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers were JC Taylor and Donald Holmes. Interment followed at Jeffrey Cemetery in McMahan.
