Retired teachers co-host Veterans Event

The Caldwell County Retired Teachers Association and Clear Fork Elementary co-hosted a Veterans Day Celebration with a “Come and Go Coffee” followed by a program led by music teacher Santiago Ochoa.
After posting of the colors by the Girl Scouts, the fourth grade choir sang several patriotic songs.
Mrs. Lloyd’s kindergarten class also sang the song “Eleven, Eleven”. Mr. Ochoa explained the some of the history of Veterans Day. He then introduced former LISD teacher and Veteran Wilma Perez, who delivered her amazing story.
