Caldwell County, Texas —Today, the Caldwell County Democratic Party announces that County Chair Alfredo Munoz is retiring and stepping down after holding the position since 2019. In his place, the CCDP county executive committee has unanimously voted to elect Kaily Stewart as the new chair.

“It was an honor to serve the Caldwell County Democrats for 6 years as party chair,” said Alfredo Munoz. “With Kaily Stewart stepping up to lead, I am excited and confident in passing the torch to the next generation.”

“Under Alfredo’s leadership, Caldwell County Democrats experienced record growth in fundraising, candidate and precinct chair recruitment, and grassroots volunteer engagement,” said Kaily Stewart. “We are incredibly thankful for his years of service, and I hope to build on the strong foundation he has helped create.”
