Lockhart’s Courthouse Nights will wrap up its 2026 season in rock-and-roll style Friday, Aug. 21, when Nightbird brings the music of Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks to the Caldwell County Courthouse Square. The final show of this year’s Courthouse Nights series is being billed as “A Night of 1000 Stevies,” giving fans an opportunity to not only hear some of the most recognizable songs from the Fleetwood Mac catalog and Nicks’ solo career, but to become part of the show themselves.

Concertgoers are encouraged to dress in their favorite Stevie Nicks era, whether that means flowing dresses, shawls, boots, top hats or another look inspired by the legendary singer’s unmistakable style. Houston-based Nightbird has performed its tribute to Fleetwood Mac and Nicks since 2009, taking the music to audiences across Texas and around the country. The group is led by vocalist Brooke Alyson, whose performance is designed to capture both the sound and stage presence that have made Nicks one of rock music’s most recognizable performers.

Nightbird’s shows draw from decades of Fleetwood Mac and Nicks favorites, giving longtime fans a chance to revisit the songs that became part of the soundtrack of the 1970s and ’80s while introducing the music to a new generation of listeners. The Aug. 21 performance should also provide a fitting finale for another summer of live music in downtown Lockhart.

Courthouse Nights has once again brought a variety of performers to the courthouse lawn throughout the spring and summer, turning downtown into a gathering place for live music, food and an evening with friends and neighbors. For the finale, the festivities are scheduled from 7 to 10 p.m. on the south side of the courthouse lawn. Radio Lockhart 107.9 is scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m., followed by Nightbird from 8:30 to 10 p.m.

For the final night, however, a little Stevie Nicks flair is strongly encouraged. The “Night of 1000 Stevies” theme gives the season-ending concert a playful twist and could turn the courthouse lawn into a sea of flowing fabric, signature hats and vintage rock-and-roll fashion as fans celebrate the music and style of one of Fleetwood Mac’s most iconic members. With Nightbird providing the music and the audience helping set the scene, the Aug. 21 concert promises to send the 2026 Courthouse Nights season out on a memorable note.
