LISD Board recognizes First Day, Fresh Cuts Event partners

    On August 9th, the 2nd Annual First Day Fresh Cuts Event took place, and it was a tremendous success.

    LISD recognized Nicky Lawrence and Loren Riedel for organizing the event and helping make it such a success. Their time, dedication, and commitment to our students helped create an experience that made a meaningful difference in the lives of our families. 

   Also recognized was Griselda Molina for helping but most importantly she took on collecting and distributing backpacks and school supplies for students who participated. 

    Also Navigate to 28 Committee gave generous support of the event. Krystal Evans and the Lockhart High School National Honor Society also  volunteering their time to make the event successful.

   A special thank you goes to all the generous sponsors, barbers, and hairstylists who volunteered their time and talents to make this event possible. 

   Because of their generosity, the little Lions felt confident, cared for, and ready to take on the first day of school. 

    Thank you for helping the students start the school year off fresh and for investing in the success of our students.
