Rob Ortiz
Candidate for Caldwell County Commissioner, Precinct 4
My name is Rob Ortiz, and I am seeking the office of Caldwell County Commissioner for Precinct 4.
I am a lifelong member of the Caldwell County community and a graduate of Lockhart High School, Class of 1998. I bring more than 25 years of experience in the energy and utility industry, where I have gained valuable knowledge in infrastructure, operations, project management, and the importance of responsible planning.
I currently serve as Chairman of the Greater Caldwell County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where I work alongside local businesses, community organizations, and volunteers to promote economic opportunity, support education, and strengthen community partnerships.
My decision to seek office comes from my concerns about the challenges facing Precinct 4, particularly the need for economic development, improved roads and infrastructure, illegal dumping prevention, and responsible approaches to public safety.
I believe county government should be accessible, transparent, and accountable to the people it serves. Residents deserve to have their concerns heard and to understand how decisions affecting their communities are made.
My professional experience, community involvement, and understanding of local concerns have shaped my approach to public service. I am seeking this office to bring those experiences to county government and help address the needs of Precinct 4, including Dale, Lytton Springs, St. John Colony, and surrounding communities.
