Tom Guyton

Candidate for Lockhart ISD School Board Member at Large

As a proud graduate of Lockhart High School, I believe it is both an honor and a privilege to give back to my district and community because they have given so much to me.  I am a second generation  Lockhart ISD Board of Trustees as my late father Ira Guyton also served as a trustee.

I have 17 years of experience as a trustee and have been part of 17 balanced budgets, a comprehensive plan (Navigate to 28) to move our district into the future, and the successful passage of bond issues to renovate and expand our high school as well as build three new schools.

My experience as a trustee, my love of our community, and my passion to make Lockhart ISD a destination district qualify me to continue my service to our students, staff, and school community.

Thank you for your support and your trust over the past 17 years!
