Jovita Maria Tijerina Yruegas

Mrs. Jovita Maria Tijerina Yruegas, 83, of Lockhart, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005. Recitation of the rosary was at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the DeLeon Funeral Home. Funeral mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary”s Catholic Church. Burial followed in Bunton Cemetery in Dale, Texas.

n-in-law, Eddie Trejo.
She is survived by her daughters, Minnie Trejo of Austin, Dion Cruz and husband Crecencio, Maria Bosquez and husband Jose, all of Dale, Janie DeLeon and husband Raymond, Jovita Dillon and husband Scott, all of Lockhart; sons, Domingo Yruegas of Lockhart, Antonio Yruegas and wife Ester of Cuero; sisters, Trinidad Ortega of Pharr, Manuela Pineda of Magnum, Okla., Marina Hernandez of Mathis, Texas; brother, Eduardo Tijerina, of Spur, Texas; 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Domingo Yruegas, Antonio Yruegas Jr., Edmundo Trejo Jr., Maria Bosquez, Dion Cruz and Janie DeLeon.
