Frances Cecelia Bienek
Mrs. Frances Cecelia Bienek, 103, of Luling, formerly of Lockhart died July 14, 2005 in Luling.
Mrs. Bienek was born Aug. 21, 1901 in Goforth, Texas to John and Rose Dzenowski Bonkowski. She was united in marriage to Vincent A. Bienek on Nov. 9, 1921 at the Sacred Heart Catholic in Polonia, Texas.
Rosary services were held at 7 p.m. July 17 in the Chapel of the E
eds Funeral Home with Deacon Lupe Aguilar officiating. Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. July 18 at St. Mary”s Catholic Church in Lockhart with Father Robert Becker officiating. Interment followed in the Polonia Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons, Ray Bienek, Davy Bienek, Danny Bienek, Vincent Bienek, Timothy Bienek and Michael Bienek.
Mrs. Bienek is survived by her daughter, Connie A. Fogle of Lockhart; sons, Felix D. and wife Maxine Bienek of Luling, and David E. and wife JoAnn Bienek of Keller, Texas; brother, Pete Bonkowski of Lockhart; seven grandsons; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and a daughter, two granddaughters, her parents, five sisters and two brothers.
