I remember Mrs. Strawn as a soft spoken, kind woman…She was our English teacher in Jr High, I think…I know that she will be missed by all those who knew her…Rest in Peace.
I grew up on sunrise street in Lytton Springs.. If this is the same Ms. Strawn, she lived next door to me, separated only by an empty lot.. My dog used to get out all the time and one time she was over with Ms. Strawn.. Ms. Strawn was so incredible kind and generous.. She would see us boys running through the lot, climbing trees, basically acting like kids.. when we would go to drink from her waterhose (which is what we did when we were kids), she always offered lemonade.. What a kind soul and as always she will be in my thoughts and my heart..
