Mauricio C. Ortiz, Sr.

Mr. Mauricio C. Ortiz, Sr., 81, of Lockhart, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005. Recitation of the rosary was at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2005 at the DeLeon Funeral Home. Funeral mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005 at St. Mary”s Catholic Church. Burial with military honors followed in San Pablo Cemetery.

iz; daughters, Berta Trejo and Margie Castillo, both of Lockhart, Alice Garza of Austin and Hilda Trejo of Lockhart; sons, Mauricio Ortiz, Jr. of Lockhart and Rudy Trejo of Austin; and numerous grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Serving as pallbearers were Ernest Gonzales, Sam Gonzales, Phillip Alvarez, Matthew Alvarez, Santos Garcia, Jr., Stephen Garcia, and Adam Ortiz.
