Beatrice Partida
Beatrice “Billie” Partida, of Lockhart, passed away surrounded by loved ones at her home on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013.
Auntie Billie was born on April 24, 1927, the youngest member of her family.
She is survived by her sister, Refugia Gonzales, of Austin, along with hundreds of family members living throughout the United States. She was preceded in death by her parents, At
anacio and Sofia Partida; brothers, Apolinar Partida and Joseph A. Partida; and sisters, Ysaura Lopez, Henriquetta Rodriguez, Domitila Tamayo, Olivia Velasquez, Eugenia Velasquez, Mary Velasquez and Eloisa Govea.
Auntie Billie will be remembered for her love of life and the joy she shared in spending time with family. All who knew her recognized that her faith in God was great. Although she will be greatly missed, her family is comforted knowing that God has called her to Heaven where she shares eternal peace with her loved ones.
Rosary was recited Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at St. Mary‘s Catholic Church, Lockhart, Texas at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with burial following in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

we love you Auntie Billie and you will be missed. You were an amazing woman and I’m so happy to of been apart of your life. I will forever cherish the memories you have given my family and I. I pray that I will someday be as much as an influence as you were to so many people throughout your life. We will meet again in heaven and til then you have become another one of my angels.
