Ada Koehler

Ada Koehler, 89, died at Oceanview Transitional Care Center in Texas City, Texas, on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009. She was born Jan. 5, 1920, to Rudolph and Pearl Hines in Pin Oak, Texas.
Mrs. Koehler is preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Pearl Hines; husband, V.F. Koehler; and brother, Johnny Hines.

She is survived by her son, Frank Koehler, of Loc

khart, and her daughter, Patsy Koehler Witter of Texas City, Texas; grandchildren: Shelly Witter, of Texas City, Mark Witter, of Dallas, Michelle and Leslie Drozd, of Halletsville, and Michael Koehler and fiancée, Melanie, of Lockhart; and grandchildren: Sloane Witter, of Texas City, and Hailey, Hannah and Haven Drozd, all of Halletsville, Texas.

Family accepted friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at McCurdy Funeral Home. Funeral service was held at10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at McCurdy Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Lockhart City Cemetery in Lockhart.
