Albert left this world on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the age of 43, carrying with him a heart that burned brightly and a spirit that lit up every room he entered.

Born on a warm summer day in 1982, Albert lived life with an infectious joy that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was a devoted dad whose love for his children shone through in every hug, every laugh, and every moment he created with them. He was a cherished son, a loyal brother, and the kind of best friend who made time stand still—someone you could call at any hour just to talk about nothing at all and walk away smiling.

Albert was full of life in the most beautiful way. He loved being outdoors, swimming under open skies, dancing to his favorite songs, and singing with all his heart. A devoted 49ers fan, he brought that same passion and energy to everything he did—whether it was throwing himself into work, celebrating the finer things in life, or throwing a party that no one wanted to leave. He had a deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms and an incredible gift for making people laugh. His smile was magnetic, his hugs were warm, and his ability to connect with others left a lasting mark on every life he touched.

He was both a lover and a fighter—tender-hearted yet fiercely protective of the people and principles he held dear. Albert loved everyone he met and reminded us all, through his example, how good it feels to live openly, laugh loudly, and stand up for what matters.

He is survived by his loving mother, Juanita Garcia; his cherished children, Kiarah Garcia, Nathan Garcia, and A.J. Garcia; his brothers, Joe Castillo, Jr. and Eric Castillo; and his sisters, Daisy Castillo, Becky Castillo, and Berenice Castillo.

Though his time here was far too short, the love, laughter, and light he shared will continue to echo in the stories we tell, the music we play, and the way we choose to show up for one another. He leaves behind a legacy of joy, kindness, and unforgettable memories that will keep his spirit dancing among us always.
