Angel Rodriguez

Angel Rodriguez, 50, of Lockhart, Texas passed away peacefully on Aug. 11, 2007 in Austin, Texas after a lengthy illness with Lou Gehrig”s disease. He was born Oct. 1, 1956 to Jose R. and Romalda (Juarez) Rodriguez in Lockhart, Texas.
Angel is preceded in death by his father.
He was baptized and confirmed at St Mary”s Catholic Church in Lockhart.

urvived by his loving wife of 21 years, Lucy Garcia Rodriguez; mother, Romalda Rodriguez; son, Robert Garcia; daughter, Michelle Garcia; four brothers, Blas Rodriguez, John Rodriguez, Jose G. Rodriguez and wife, Cindy, and Pete Rodriguez and wife, Margie; sister, Yolanda Cardenas; and two grandchildren, Alexandrea Garcia and Christopher Garcia all of Lockhart.

A Recitation of the Holy Rosary was held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 13, 2007 at McCurdy Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at McCurdy Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at St. Mary”s Catholic Cemetery in Lockhart, Texas.
