Barbara Stewart

Barbara Anne Dawson Stewart, 67, of Lockhart, formerly of Austin, passed away at The Golden Age Home in Lockhart on Dec. 12, 2006. Mrs. Stewart was born on Oct. 10, 1939 in Hampton, Va. to James C. and Virginia Dawson Stewart.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Virginia Dawson Stewart.
Her family wants everyone to remember how loving and caring she was

. Barbara never complained even when she became sick. She was a Registered Nurse at Seton Medical Center of Austin for 20-plus years, where she was loved by all.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by her father, James C. Stewart of South Carolina; son, Xavier Guedea and wife Annie of Kyle; daughter, Phaedra Guedea of Austin; sister, Carol Merrit of South Carolina and two grandchildren.
A visitation was held on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Eeds Funeral Home Chapel in Lockhart. Funeral Services were held at 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2006 at the Eeds Funeral Home with Reverend Don Duvall officiating with interment directly following at the Live Oak Cemetery in Uhland, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers were: Xavier Guedea, Tommy Guedea, Cary Guedea, Randy Castillo, Valdo Castillo, III and Michael Vargas.
