Caldwell County Food Bank donation drive continues

   The Caldwell County Food Bank is continuing its community-wide donation drive, calling on residents to help support local families facing food insecurity during the holiday season. Organizers say the need for assistance has grown steadily throughout the year, making this donation effort especially important.

   Residents are encouraged to donate nonperishable food items, which can be dropped off at two official locations: Johnny and Sons Paint and Body Shop, located at 400 Blackjack in Lockhart, and All About You Boutique at 6329 FM 713 in McMahan. Both sites will be collecting items throughout the duration of the drive.

   To help boost participation, each person that donates will be entered into a drawing for a 36-inch Blackstone Stove Grill. The winner of the drawing will be announced on December 13, 2025, at 8 p.m. at All About You Boutique.

   Local organizers hope the added incentive, combined with the spirit of the season, will inspire more residents to contribute. Community members are also encouraged to share information about the donation drive with friends and neighbors to help spread the word.

   Every donation, no matter the size, helps feed someone in need, together we can make a meaningful impact across Caldwell County.
