Carrol E. White

Carrol E. White, 83, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, in Corpus Christi. He was born on March 6, 1923, in Lockhart, to Melvin Lloyd White and Nola (Fox) White.
Carrol served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked for many years as a plant operator at the Celanese Corporation of America. He was a member of the VFW.
He was preceded in death

by his parents, Melvin and Nola White, by two infant sisters, and by one nephew.
Carrol is survived by his daughters, Mary Paulson of Corpus Christi, and Patricia J. Voigt and her husband Wayne of Robstown; his brother, Preston White and his wife Linda of Lockhart; five grandchildren, Jill Barnes, Jennifer Gunter, Michael Voigt, Stephanie Baggett, and Patrick Voigt; four great-grandchildren, Paige Barnes, John Barnes III, Perrin Voigt, and Katy Baggett.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2006, in the McCurdy Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kyle Bishop officiating. Interment followed in Jeffrey Cemetery in McMahan. Pallbearers were James P. White Jr., Harlon Fox, Dick Fox, Wayne Voigt, Patrick Voigt and Michael Voigt.
