William Lyman Huskey, 74, passed away on Oct. 28, 2009. He was born in Longview, Texas on Nov. 9, 1934 to Edna Laws and Lyman Theodore Huskey.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara; son, Phillip Huskey and wife, Su; daughter, Elizabeth Lumpkins and husband, Jim; and son, David Huskey. He is also survived by grandchildren Karen and Neil Huskey and Sarah and

Valerie Lumpkins.

Bill earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A & M University. Upon graduation he joined Mobil Oil, then TRW and worked in the early days of computer-based supervisory control of oil fields and pipelines.

He was a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and has been associated with the offshore Technology Research Conference for many years.

Bill was an Eagle Scout and was active in the Boy Scouts. He was presented the God and Service Recognition by the Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian in Houston for 30 years and served as an Elder.

The Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Bryan, on Nov. 7 at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers gifts may be made to the Eternal Aggie Band Endowment. Checks should be made payable to the Texas A&M Foundation with a memo reading Eternal Aggie Band.
