Coral Alane Whetzel left this earth to rest in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Oct.13, 2009. She was born July 27, 1960, to John Whetzel and Donna (Atteberry) Whetzel in Parson, Kan. The family moved to Houston, Texas, in 1966 and, in later years, her mother built a home on a hill near Lockhart. Coral lived there with her mother for the past several years, getting

to know her Piney Lane neighbors and enjoy the “country life.”

Coral was a sweet, childlike person. She loved all animals and would have taken in every stray if she could. Mostly, Coral loved her family, especially her nieces and nephew, for whom she babysat endlessly when they were young. Coral was much loved and will be terribly missed by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sisters Claire Johnson and Christi Williams and many other relatives as well as Dr. Linley Watson, his wife Jan, and their daughter Anji who was Coral”s best and dearest friend in life.

Please join us in remembering Coral on Sunday March 14, 2010, from 2 – 4 p.m. p.m. at 658 Piney Lane, Rosanky, Texas, 78953.

Arrangements with the assistance of Goodnight & Snell Funeral Directors, Austin, Texas.
