The Caldwell County Health Fair and Festival expo sponsored by Retired Nurses Group of Caldwell County  is scheduled for Saturday, 10/12/2019 on the grounds of the Caldwell County courthouse in Lockhart, Texas, 10:00am-2:00pm. This expo shapes and empowers Caldwell County citizens with knowledge about health care prevention and educational screenings. The health fair is free and open to the entire Caldwell County community. The Texas Water Resources Institute will host a free Texas Riparian and Stream Ecosystem Education Program workshop from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Lockhart State Park, 2012 State Park Rd in Lockhart for area residents interested in land and water stewardship in the Plum Creek watershed.   The training will focus on the nature and function of stream and riparian zones and the benefits and direct impacts from healthy riparian zones.
