Lockhart State Park Turkey Trot

Ready, Set….Gobble! Join us for a 1-mile or 5K run/walk to celebrate fall in the park! Don your athletic gear, and come on down to Lockhart State Park! Our Turkey Trot will be a fun run/walk on the park golf course and park trails. There will be two distances to choose from: 1-mile or 5K (3.1 miles), which both start at 9:00am. This event is open to runners and walkers of all speeds and sizes, along with their canine companions (on a leash, please). Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join us Sunday, December 8th as we celebrate our annual tree lighting ceremony on the courthouse lawn. Santa Claus is coming to town! Our photographer will be ready to capture those precious smiles and memories. Pictures with Santa and Crafts 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM Tree Lighting Ceremony 6:00 PM Donations are appreciated!

Holiday Lights Bike Ride

Help us deck the halls by cycling around Lockhart neighborhoods checking out the best Christmas lights. Light up your own bike, bring a thermos and some water. Meeting at the shop at 5:30, departing by 6PM. Back by 7ish. There may be hot chili awaiting our return… Don't forget to BRING THE KIDS!!

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade and Luncheon

District 1 PRIDE will host Lockhart's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. parade on Monday, January 20, 2020. The march will begin at 10 a.m. at the corner of M.L.K. Boulevard and Seawillow Road and will end at the Connection Center (200 S Blanco St, Lockhart, TX 78644) across from the Postal Office. A free luncheon and program will be provided with dessert and silent auction benefiting the District 1 PRIDE Senior Scholarship. Transportation to the starting point of the march will be provided by Goldstar buses for anyone who needs a returning ride to their vehicle.
