February 15, 1940 – September 24, 2021

A Son, a Dad, a Brother, and a Grandfather. Never was there a dull moment in his presence. A conversation with Faustino was a moment of laughter and memories that you never wanted to end. Somebody who has lived 81 blessed years, sure enough, has a story or two. He was a medic in the Army and worked for the United States Postal Service as his career choice. He leaves behind two brothers: Vicente Yanez and his wife Minga Yanez; Bentura Yanez and his wife, Josie Yanez. A sister: Valentina Barboza. Proceeded in death are his parents: Basilio and Luz Yanez, and his brothers: Luciano Yanez, Ernestino Yanez, Valentin Yanez, Natividad Yanez, Victoriano Yanez, and Roque Yanez. His children: Daniel Yanez, Liza Yanez, Crystal Taylor and son-in-law, Chad Taylor.. Proceeded in death is his son, Johnny Yanez. He leaves behind two grandchidren DeMaya Yanez and Colton Taylor. We are here to honor and celebrate the history of a beautiful soul we all will miss dearly. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021 at DeLeon Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Martindale, Texas. Burial will follow in Santa Maria Aida Cemetery in Maxwell, Texas.
