Flavio Torres, Sr.

Flavio Torres, Sr., our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, of Kyle, Texas, went peacefully to his eternal rest to be with our Heavenly Father on Dec. 30, 2005, at the age of 64 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Pasquela Torres, and his brother, Cruz Torres.
He is survived by his sons, David Torres and wife Melinda of

Austin, Richard Torres and wife Alma of Manor, Flavio Torres, Jr., of Kyle, and Isaac Torres of New Braunfels; daughters Mary Torres of Austin and Olga T. Kreck and husband Byron of Kansas; sister Estella Sanchez of Kyle; the mother of his children, Guadalupe Tobias of Lockhart; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Recitation of the Rosary was on Monday, Jan. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at Los Angeles Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony”s Catholic Church in Kyle, with Rev. Howard Goertz officiating. Interment followed in the San Pedro Cemetery in San Marcos.
Serving as pallbearers were Rudy Longoria, Leon Longoria, Dean Arron, Abel Longoria, Jerry Longoria and Domingo Tobias.
