The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, by Barbara Robinson, is a hilarious and unexpectedly touching holiday story. 

When the wildly misbehaved Herdman kids — who’ve never even heard the Christmas story – barge their way into the church pageant, everyone braces for disaster. But as the chaos unfolds, the Herdmans bring an unpolished honesty to the nativity that no one saw coming. What starts as a mess turns into a heartfelt celebration of the holiday spirit, showing the entire community that there’s more to Christmas than they ever imagined.

The show is directed by Rachel Jenkins. It is sponsored by Doug and Shari Foster.
