Henry W. Fielder
Henry W. Fielder, 67, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Providence Hospital following surgery. Services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church with the Pastor Paul Krupicka officiating. Burial followed at Waco Memorial Park.
Hank Fielder was born Sept. 28, 1944, in San Antonio to Weldon and Grace Fielder. He was married to Rosemary Fielder
since 1993. He had two children, Tracy Roberts, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Trent Fielder of East Palm Beach,Fla.; and two step-children, Kristina Fulcher, of Arlington, Texas, and Wade Allen of Angleton, Texas. He had eight grandchildren: Grace Allen, Will Allen, Emma Allen, Darci Fulcher, Margaret Roberts, Sarah Roberts, Nevaeh Fielder and Logan Fielder.
Hank was a graduate of Lockhart High School and the University of Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1969. While at the University of Texas, he was a member of the Texas Cowboys.
Hank was employed by the law firm of Sheehy, Lovelace and Mayfield, P.C., for a period of 43 years. He was a member of the Downtown Rotary Club, and he served as the chairman of the board of United Way of Texas, as president of the United Way of Waco McLennan County. He served as president of Caritas, president of Boys and Girls Clubs of Waco, president of the Camp Fire Girls of Waco, and as a member of the board of United Way of Waco Foundation, Waco Industrial Foundation and the Waco Business League. He served as president of Waco Jaycees, president of Hedonia Club, and president of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; his two brothers, Bill Fielder, of Austin, and Jim Fielder and wife, Terry, of Martindale; his children, step-children, and grandchildren.
Pallbearers were the shareholders and partners of Sheehy, Lovelace and Mayfield, P.C.
