On Saturday, May 11, the Deaf Seniors Club from Houston visited Lockhart and the Caldwell County Museum at the old hail. Museum Docent Hannah Phillips addressed the group of 31 visitors about the jail. They gathered on the lawn to hear the history of the museum and the jail before going inside to take their tour. There was a sign-language specialist with the group. The group also visited the Dr. Eugene Clark Library, the Caldwell County Courthouse, the Southwest Museum of Clocks & Watches, and they had lunch at The Original Black’s Barbecue.
