Joe A. Gonzales, Jr.

Mr. Joe A. Gonzales, Jr., 59, of Kyle, Texas, passed away on March 31, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and dedication. Born to Joe and Rosantina Gonzales on December 20, 1964, in Austin, Texas, Joe was cherished by his family and friends.
Known for his love of conversation and his ability to bring joy to those around him, Joe had a knack for making people smile with his jokes and his fun-loving nature. He had a passion for music, particularly enjoying the melodies of Vicente Fernandez, and found relaxation in watching his favorite TV shows, including CSI and court TV. Joe’s commitment to his work was evident in his willingness to labor tirelessly, day and night.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joe Gonzales, Sr., but his memory lives on through his loving family. He is survived by his children, daughters Maria Esther Gonzales, Josephine (Josie) Gonzales, sons Timothy Joel Gonzales, Cristian Gonzales, King David Gonzales, daughter Perla Esmeralda Gonzales, and his mother Rosantina Gonzales. Additionally, he is survived by his brothers, Edward Gonzales, Sr., and Johnny Gonzales, as well as his grandchildren, Lissandra Ortiz Gonzales, Oliver Ortiz Gonzales, Areli Ibarra Gonzales, Ruby Ibarra Gonzales, Ismael Isis Ibarra Gonzales, great-grandchild Leighla Tellez Gonzales., who will always hold him dear in their hearts.
Visitation for Mr. Gonzales will take place from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, at DeLeon Funeral Home.
Joe’s absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him, but his memory will continue to bring warmth and laughter to those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
