Judy K. Toungate Grantham
Judy K. Toungate Grantham, 79, passed peacefully on March 13, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born June 23, 1946, in Round Rock, TX, the daughter of George Ferris Toungate and Bessie Irene (Daniels) Toungate, and step-daughter of Joseph Joe O’Reilly.
Judy not only cared for and poured love into the lives of her own children, but she also touched the lives of many others through the daycare she ran. Alongside her family, she owned and operated the thriving restaurant Dairy Land in Luling, TX for many years. She cherished being surrounded by family and spending time together—whether gathering for holidays or enjoying a lively, competitive game of Bunco. Judy loved attending church with her church family and was always eager to share her love for and faith in Jesus.
In addition to her parents and stepfather, she is preceded in death by her husband, Glen Edward Grantham; three sisters, Lily Mae Reznicek, Amy JoAnn Grantham, and Betty Louise Holcomb; two sons, Christopher Wayne Gilliam and Glen Stokes Grantham; and two grandchildren, Clifton Edward Grantham and Warren Clay Grantham.
She is survived by her two sons, Reggie Gilliam and wife, Lori, of Seguin and James Keaton Garner and wife, Stevie, of Kyle; six daughters: Angela Gilliam-Gibson of Bastrop, Sharlet Watts and husband, Mitchell, of Dale, Dana Sanchez and husband, RJ, of Floresville, Barbara Moeller of Shiner, Glenda Daniels, of Dale, and Missy Grantham, wife of late Glen S. Grantham; four brothers: Billy Toungate of Dale, Ricky Toungate of Dallas, Luther Toungate of Georgetown, Edward Toungate of Seguin; one sister, Nancy Wood of Rockdale; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great- grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Daniel Watts, Josh Gilliam, Brandon Gilliam, David Gibson, Jacob Turner, and Johny Hoffman.
A viewing will be held on March 20, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. at the McCurdy Funeral Home located at 105 E Pecan St., Lockhart, TX. A service of Celebration of Life will be held on March 21, 2026, at Clearfork Baptist Church at 10 a.m., located at 461 Clearfork Rd, Lockhart, TX. Burial at Clearfork Cemetery immediately to follow.
