Keith Fields

Keith Fields, 49, was surrounded by loved ones at his home on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, when he peacefully went to be with his Lord, after losing his courageous battle with lung cancer.
Keith was an avid golfer and fisherman, a wonderful husband, father and friend to all he met. He enjoyed having friends and family around and fixing his “famous pulled pork” for them

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Fields and Betty Fields.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kim; daughters, Tobi, 3, and Holly, 2; grandmother, Audrey; step-mother, Judy Fields; brothers Greg, Lamar and Jay, of Georgia; and sister, Julie of Washington, D.C.
Visitation was held at McCurdy Funeral Home on Friday, June 6, 2008, from 6 – 8 p.m. Services were held at First United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 7, 2008, at 2 p.m. with Rev Bob Hahn officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were Juan Acosta, Eddie Thompson, Joel Williams, Larry Swinney, Kenny Sturm and Clint Bowers. Honorary pallbearers were Greg Fields and Lamar Fields.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to a fund for his daughters, Tobi and Holly, at First-Lockhart National Bank.
