Lady Lobos leave Lady Lion Field with 8-3 loss

The Lady Lions defeated the Lehman Lady Lobos 8-3 at Lady Lion Field after seven innings on Monday, March 16.

It took a couple of innings for the Lady Lion batters to warm up during the Spring Break game on Monday, but when they did, there was no stopping the hits.

The score was 2-1 in favor of the Lady Lions in the f

ourth inning. They came together and fought even harder, scoring five runs at the top of the fifth to solidify their lead at 7-1.

The Lady Lobos answered with two runs in the seventh and the Lady Lions added one, ending the game at 8-3.

The Lady Lions traveled to Manor to face the Lady Mustangs on Tuesday, March 17 and played the San Marcos Lady Rattlers at Lady Lion Field on Wednesday, March 18. Check next week’s Post-Register for scores and highlights.

The Lady Lions will travel to Del Valle to face the Lady Cardinals on Tuesday, March 24 and host the Elgin Lady Wildcats on Friday March 27.
