R Bar M Ranch, LTD has submitted an application for a permit to the Gonzales County Underground Water Conservation District (GCUWCD) to re-equip an existing we
ll for industrial supply use. The proposed industrial supply well is located approximately 7 miles southeast of the City of Smiley at 5531 CR 219 in Gonzales County. R Bar M Ranch, LTD proposes to produce the full amount allowable for the 426 contiguous acre tract of land. The well is completed in the Yegua-Jackson Aquifer.
The GCUWCD Rules in effect at the time of this permit application submittal are the March 16, 2010 Rules. Permit notice and hearing procedures are included in Rule 24. Copies of the GCUWCD”s March 16, 2010 rules are available at the GCUWCD office located at 920 Saint Joseph Street, Room 129, Gonzales, Texas 78629 or online at the GCUWCD website www.gcuwcd.org . Interested persons may provide written comments to the GCUWCD on the proposed industrial supply well permit application. Written comments must be filed within thirty
(30) days of the date of publication of this notice and in accordance with Rule 24 of the rules of the GCUWCD. Comments should be submitted to the GCUWCD”s General Manager at 920 Saint Joseph, Room 129, P.O. Box 1919, Gonzales, Texas 78629.
If no comments are received by the end of the 30-day comment period, a public hearing may not be required and the Board may act on the permit application.

The Lockhart Independent School District (LISD), Texas will accept statements of qualifications from qualified consultants to perform geotechnical investigations and provide design criteria recommendations for building and structure foundations and paving. Interested firms should also provide statements of qualifications for providing construction materials testing and inspection services during construction. The services will be related to projects included in the LISD 2014 Bond Program.
All submissions must be received at the LISD Administration Office by 2:00pm CST on Thursday, June 12, 2014. Submissions must be submitted in sealed envelopes marked 2014 Bond Program – RFQ 14-007 for Geotechnical Services.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that Caldwell County ESD #2 will receive sealed bids via hard copy or email in the Office of Gallup Engineering located at 2019 Clovis Barker Road, Suite A-105, San Marcos, Texas 78666 (anne@gallupengineering.com), up to June 2nd at 12:00 pm, for furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work necessary for the construction of a new 2,480 s.f. metal building and concrete foundation and additional concrete slabs (2,686 s.f.) to be located at the Maxwell Community Fire Department at 9655 Highway 142 in Maxwell, Texas. Bids will be opened on June 2nd at 3 pm at the Maxwell Fire Station, 9655 Highway 142. Bid will be awarded on June 5th at the regular meeting of the board of Caldwell County ESD #2 at 7:30 pm at the Maxwell Fire Station, 9655 Highway 142.
Bidders may bid on entire work description or parts of the work description. Bids will be submitted using lump sum pricing. Payment for the work will be issued upon percentage completion of the work. Work is to be completed 120 days after bid contract acceptance.
