Legal Notice Tolls Announced for SH 130 Segments 5 & 6 Beginning Sunday, November 11, 2012, toll collection will begin on the main lanes of Texas State Highway 130 Segments 5 and 6. The project spans approximately 41 miles, beginning in Mustang Ridge, traveling through three counties (Travis, Caldwel
l and Guadalupe) and connecting with Interstate 10 in Seguin. Base toll rate for a light vehicle (such as a family car or pickup truck) will be 15 cents per mile or $6.17 to travel the entire length of the new roadway. The base toll rate for an 18-wheeler will be 60 cents per mile or $24.58 to travel the entire length of the new roadway. These base toll rates will be charged to vehicles using a TxTag device. TxTag is an electronic toll collection sticker applied to the inside windshield of cars and trucks. Drivers can open a TxTag account at www.TxTag.org or by calling the TxTag Customer Service Center (toll-free) 1-888-468-9824. Drivers may also use a TollTag (issued by the North Texas Tollway Authority) or EZ TAG (issued by the Harris County Texas Toll Road Authority). Drivers who do not utilize an electronic toll collection sticker can choose to Pay By Mail. Paying by mail adds a fee of no more than 33 percent to the base rate toll on SH 130 Segments 5 and 6. The public can view a map of the nearly completed SH 130 Segments 5 & 6 toll road including entry and exit points and a complete toll schedule at www.mysh130.com. NOTICE OF REQUIREMENT TO COMPLY WITH THE SUBDIVISION SERVICE EXTENSION POLICY OF AQUA WATER SUPPLY CORPORATION Pursuant to Texas Water Code, §13.2502, Aqua Water Supply Corporation hereby gives notice that any person who subdivides land by dividing any lot, tract, or parcel of land, within the service area of Aqua Water Supply Corporation, Certificate of Convenience and Necessity No. 10294, in Bastrop, Caldwell, Williamson, Lee, Fayette and Travis Counties, into two or more lots or sites for the purpose of sale or development, whether immediate or future, including re-subdivision of land for which a plat has been filed and recorded or requests more than two water service connections on a single contiguous tract of land must comply with the Rules and Regulations Concerning Aqua’s Service to Subdivisions (the “Subdivision Policy”) contained in Aqua Water Supply Corporation”s tariff. CITY OF LOCKHART PUBLIC BID FOR FUELS The City of Lockhart is accepting annual supply bids for approximately 40,000 gallons of unleaded plus gasoline and 26,000 gallons of No. 2 dyed diesel fuel. A minimum of two-thousand five hundred (2,500) gallons would be ordered at any given time. The price of fuels may increase or decrease based on the weekly average Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) price published each Thursday from the Austin, Texas, Rack. The amount designated as the supplier’s profit margin per gallon must include delivery and must remain the same during the term of the contract. The contract term will be from one year from the date of approval by the City Council. Bid award may be separate for each fuel. Required forms for bid submittal are available from the Public Works Office at 705 Wichita Street during normal business hours. Bids must be received by 2 pm, Monday, October 29th, 2012 at City Hall, 308 W. San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas 78644. Bids not received by this time and date will be rejected. Bid envelopes should be externally marked to indicate “Fuel Bids”. Public Request for Proposals Design, Bid, Build City Hall Roof The City of Lockhart is accepting written proposals from qualified roofing professionals for a new minimum 24 gauge standing seam metal roof, excluding the skylights area, at City Hall located at 308 W. San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas 78644. The sealed proposals, which should be marked “City Hall Roof Proposal”, will be accepted until 11:00 am, Thursday, November 8, 2012, and can be mailed to the above address, dropped off at the above address or mailed to P O Box 239, Lockhart, Texas, 78644, Proposals must include: 3 sets of architect/engineer sealed construction plans describing the materials and details for installation of the new standing seam metal roof; the bid must include the cost of the sealed construction plans, all supervision, labor, equipment and material costs to perform all tasks for placement of the new roof to accomplish a weather tight roof system. The new roof must have a guarantee of 10 years against leaking due to workmanship and/or materials. The flat roof area may be inspected during normal business hours. Contractor must bring own ladder. Prior to award, the successful qualified contractor at their own expense must provide proof of workers compensation and general liability insurance coverage naming the City of Lockhart as an additional insured party and must also provide a warranty bond for the 10 year guarantee period. San Antonio Street, Lockhart, TX, for annual maintenance mowing and weed-eating activities at the Lockhart Municipal Airport in specified areas. All bidders must posses a valid City of Lockhart contractor’s license and be bonded. Qualified bidders may obtain specifications packets at the Public Works Department, 705 Wichita St., during normal business hours. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site before submitting a bid.
