Linda Dorothy Rheinlander, 58, of Lockhart, Texas, Texas was called to Heaven on Wednesday, June 3, 2015.
Born March 28, 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pa., she is the daughter of James P. Diethorn and the late Leah D Diethorn.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Terry Rheinlander; son, Jacob Rheinlander and wife, Kit of Houston; daughter, Leah Rheinlander; sister, Marcy

(Gerry) Draves; brother, Adam (Pam) Diethorn; step-brothers, Jeff (Nicky) Bleiel and Brian (Cindy) Bleiel; step-sister, Judy Bleiel; brother-in-law, Paul (Jennie) Rheinlander and late brother-in-law, Dan (Viola) Rheinlander; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Linda was a long time resident of Lockhart, where she lived since leaving her childhood homes in Pittsburgh and Port Lavaca, Texas. She graduated from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh in 1979, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and Calhoun High School, Port Lavaca, Texas, in 1975.
Linda loved her family; additionally she loved everything artistic, cooking, and playing with the family’s Springer Spaniels. Linda also loved the few years she spent substitute teaching in the Lockhart ISD.
Funeral mass will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church in Lockhart. A celebration of her life will be held following the service at the Rheinlander Ranch, 100 Oma’s Lane, Lockhart, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice in remembrance of Linda.
