Lino Arvizu

Lino Arvizu, 52, sadly passed away battling cancer on August 7, 2024 at the home of family, in Dale, TX. He was born on September 23, 1971 in Ciudad Mante, Tamaulipas Mexico. He is preceded in death by his father Juan Arvizu Rivera, mother Bertha Alvarez from el Municipio de Gomez Farias, Tamaulipas and son, Eliazar Onil Arvizu Garcia. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Garcia de Arvizu from Austin, TX, son, Dr. Lino Demetrio Arvizu, from Austin, TX but resides in Gomez Farias, Tamaulipas. Stepsons, Filiberto Hernandez Jr., Gabriel Hernandez (Dora Gudino) and David Hernandez(Claudia Gomez) all from Austin, Tx. His brothers: Alberto Arvizu, Juan Arvizu, Leobardo Arvizu, Alfonso Arvizu, Salomon Arvizu, sisters: Ma. Rucio Arvizu, Juana Leonarda Arvizu and Hipolita Arvizu all from Gomez Farias, Tamaulipas Mexico. 2 Grandsons: Phillip and Christopher Hernandez of Austin, TX, 4 Granddaughters: Viviana and Paloma Hernandez of Austin,Tx, Estrella and Esmeralda Hernandez of Luling, Tx and 1 great granddaughter, Mercedes Hernandez of Austin.

Lino was a painter by trade but his passion was farming and raising sheep in his ranch in Mexico. Lino’s absence will be missed by his family, friends and many cousins.

A special thanks to the Sotelo family and spouses, Garcia Family, Familia Jose Hernandez, Abel Hernandez, Tina Duran, Raul and Martha De La Paz, Idalia Marroquin, and Prima Ester for given Lino support and comfort during his time of passing.

A memorial service will be held in Ejido Ampliacion Ojo de Agua, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
