Lions are growing their learning

Above, Last week, Lockhart ISD 3rd graders from Borchert Loop Elementary,  wrapped up their reading unit with some exciting hands-on learning. 

 To close out their unit on ‘Plant and Animal Interactions’, they took a field trip to the Texas State Meadows Center.

 Students explored a variety of plant and animal habitats and discovered how all living things work together to survive. It was an amazing day full of curiosity, discovery, and, of course, lots of fun. Photos courtesy of LISD.
